General Rules SIPTO

• Affiliated to the University of Kalyani (UGC recognized State Govt. University).
• Students must attend theory and practical classes, as well as training programmes, with diligence and sincerity while maintaining discipline throughout the course.
• Students will not be allowed to appear in the final university exams if they fail to attend at least 75% of the lectures, demonstrations, and practical classes, as per university norms.
• The management of the institute reserves the right to change or modify the prospectus, rules, guidelines, fee structures, and other criteria whenever necessary. These changes will be binding on all individuals associated with the institute.
• All students are required to carry the institute's identity card and wear their uniforms within the campus during institute hours. The identity card will be issued after admission.
• All notices issued by the authorities of the institute must be read and strictly followed.
• Course fees must be paid within the stipulated date. After the due date, a late fee will be applicable as follows:
  • Late fee of Rs. 1000/- will be charged if the fees are not paid within the due date. The last date for submission will be 7 days prior to the exam date.
  • For other fees, a late fee of Rs. 50/- per day will be charged. The last date for submission will be 7 days prior to the exam date.
• Students must clear all outstanding academic fees within the stipulated time before the university exam schedule.
• Semester examination fees, inter-supplementary exam fees, and other fees will be determined by the institute authority as required.
• If a library card or identity card is lost, a duplicate can be obtained from the institute office by paying a fee of Rs. 150/-.
• Any fees once deposited will not be refunded under any circumstances.
• Ragging or any similar activity is strictly prohibited. Any student found participating in such activities will be punished accordingly.
• One set of uniform and apron will be provided free of cost. Additional uniforms or aprons can be obtained by paying extra charges.
